The Clinical Scheduler is a key member of the Md Medical Group team, responsible for coordinating clinical department and clinician staffing needs to ensure smooth operations and adequate coverage. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and review clinical department and clinician staff schedules to identify staffing vacancies and coordinate with Practice Managers to ensure adequate coverage.
- Make necessary adjustments to employee work schedules and hours as needed, communicating with staff, Practice Managers, and clinicians to ensure proper office coverage.
- Enter accounts and publish current staff and clinician schedules in QGenda system, approving or denying schedule change requests as necessary.
- Train new clinical staff, clinicians, and Practice Managers on QGenda system usage.
- Backfill schedules as needed due to long-term events such as FMLA and departing providers/employees, as well as short-term events like minor illness, family emergencies, jury duty, call-outs, and PTOs.
- Review staffing reports sent by Practice Managers to ensure accurate information is reflected in QGenda.
- Act as backup to Scheduling Template Specialist to open and close templates in XPM patient appointment scheduling system.
- Assist with obtaining floater credentials and certification renewals.
- May be assigned On-Call Weekends.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality and adhere to all organizational information security policies to protect sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
- Advanced English level (C1/C2) required.
- Knowledge of computer required.
- Ability to multitask, analyze situations, and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and direct tasks.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and management.
Full-time, indefinite contract. Salary: $19,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month. 8-hour workday, Monday to Friday. Benefits include option for indefinite contract, referral program, and remote work opportunities.
