About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Global Safety Reporting Operations Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and organized professional to oversee and coordinate contracted safety responsibilities for one or more PVG programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to act as a liaison with clients, vendors, senior management, and other divisions, and represent PVG on interdepartmental working groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight and coordination of contracted safety responsibilities for one or more PVG programs
  • Staffing, training, and procedural compliance where safety reporting staff have reporting responsibilities
  • Management of the safety reporting team on respective programs to ensure compliance and budget awareness
  • Proactive liaison with the Project Manager, clinical teams (where applicable), and clients to ensure optimal performance and utilization of the safety reporting team
  • Support with project bidding, start up, monitoring, and close out activities as needed for the project and where the contract requires
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to act as a liaison with clients, vendors, senior management, and other divisions
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and ability to create and design reports
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage, motivate, mentor, and supervise a diverse team
  • Knowledge of medical and safety terminology
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
