To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of experience as a procurement and pricing manager, with advanced conversational English skills to negotiate prices with Asia, Europe, and North America. A language proficiency interview in English will be conducted to validate your level of proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive delivery targets for the entire region.
- Negotiate and maintain standard agreements and rates for Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Trucking & VAS, Customs, etc. across all locations in the region.
- Establish and measure the productivity of the supplier base.
- Drive profitability improvement plans for existing customers.
- Ensure profitability in line with corporate requirements.
- Monitor and drive team data quality in documentation.
- Maintain relations and conduct regular review meetings with vendors.
- Negotiate and maintain standard agreements/rates with vendors/service providers for Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Trucking & VAS, Customs, etc.
- Create an approved pool of vendors; design and implement a vendor approval process.
- Deliver superior service delivery and maintain close contact with all key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for Customs, Ports, and local authorities.
- Develop KPIs to monitor vendor performance in line with expectations from Talink.
- Share best practices across the region.
Compensation: Negotiable base salary of $60k to $100k, plus standard benefits and major medical expenses.
