Job Overview

Position Summary
The Customs Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the documentation processes to ensure adherence to Customs regulations and other governmental requirements. This role involves managing the workload of team members, setting collective objectives, enforcing established policies, and providing training to staff on regulatory compliance. The supervisor is expected to maintain high productivity levels while staying informed about changes in international trade and transportation regulations. Additionally, this position entails managing client relationships for designated accounts and ensuring the quality of services delivered to those clients. The supervisor will also allocate and monitor the team's workload, compile and report performance metrics, address customer service challenges, and manage all facets of account operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the account management operations. Conducts reviews for exceptions. Manages the financial oversight of brokerage activities. Assists in the preparation and dissemination of internal audit reports for Trade Management Services leadership. Facilitates root cause analysis and provides direction for corrective action strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field - Preferred Demonstrated analytical, communication, customer service, and time management capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, if applicable) Comprehensive understanding of Customs and Border Protection regulations Willingness to travel as necessary Customs Broker License - Preferred Experience in International Trade, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding - Preferred
