As we continue to expand, we're seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our team at our Juriquilla, Queretaro location.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $70,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

**Job Description**

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and updating the company's tax database
  • Preparing tax payments, estimates, and tracking tax returns
  • Completing quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Recommending tax strategies that align with business objectives
  • Preparing necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
  • Sharing financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements
  • Identifying tax savings and suggesting ways to increase profits within tax regulations
  • FOLLOWING INDUSTRY TRENDS AND TRACKING CHANGES
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
  • Forecasting tax predictions to senior managers to inform business decisions

**Requirements**

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or a related discipline
  • 4-5 years of related experience in accounting
  • Previous administrative logistics and service experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment), would be considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategical thinking
