Job Summary

As a Cashier-Valet Parking Attendant at Marriott International, Inc, you will be responsible for controlling and directing the flow of personal and commercial vehicles in the hotel, including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses, to ensure they are legally parked and maintain a smooth and efficient traffic flow. You will also be responsible for maintaining the security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas and levels, and reporting any risks or potential security issues to the manager or supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control and direct the flow of personal and commercial vehicles in the hotel
  • Maintain the security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas and levels
  • Report any risks or potential security issues to the manager or supervisor
  • Communicate with guests and visitors on parking procedures
  • Divert traffic when parking facilities reach maximum capacity
  • Review employee shift records and daily memo books, and document relevant information in records
  • Provide directions and information to guests on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Provide change to guests
  • Conduct nightly audits of parked vehicles with claim receipts, resolve discrepancies, and present a list of charges for the night auditor
  • Maintain the security of vehicles and their keys
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Previous experience in a related field is not required, but a supervisor's experience is also not necessary. A valid license or certification is not required.
