Virtual Lab Systems Architect

Quantum Corporation is seeking a skilled Virtual Lab Developer and Administrator to support critical business and sales functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building internal and customer-facing virtual labs containing Windows systems, Linux systems, and Quantum products.
About the RoleThis role offers a hybrid working schedule, with at least 3 days per week spent in our Zapopan office. You will work closely with multiple departments to gather requirements and technical assets, authoring applicable storylines to showcase Quantum products within the virtual lab environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement virtual lab environments for demonstrating Quantum products.
- Develop and maintain storylines to effectively showcase product features and capabilities.
- Support the IT operational environment, delivering business and end-user systems.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Product team to understand latest feature sets.
- Interface with the lab platform vendor to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Perform data backups and restores, as well as server maintenance activities.
- Monitor the operating environment and respond to alerts.
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
- IaaS experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bash, Python, VMware vSphere ESXi, and system monitoring utilities.
- Basic knowledge of system programming languages.
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting SAN, LAN, WAN issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Business, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
