Project Overview: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design and implement a cloud-based infrastructure for our client's crypto trading platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to integrate with 3rd party platforms and tools, ensuring seamless deployment and configuration management.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, S3, EC2, and VPC.
- Test and improve implemented designs to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning using Jenkins, Aurora, EKS, and Route 53.
- Handle infrastructure and code deployments in all environments, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve performance and cost.
- Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
- Manage CI and CD tools.
- Document and design processes, updating existing processes as needed.
- Work with InfoSec to harden production platforms.
Requirements:
- Experience with cloud deployment environments, particularly AWS.
- Experience with Elastic Search and/or OpenSearch Administration, architecting highly resilient infrastructure.
- Deep dive knowledge of enterprise production support.
- Experience with Grafana and Loki management.
- Good working knowledge of source control (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Good spoken English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GitOps tooling (FluxCD, ArgoCD, JenkinsX).
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
