Music Educator

Horry County Schools seeks an experienced and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and be committed to delivering high-quality instruction to students.

This position involves teaching music classes, planning lessons, and developing curriculum to meet the needs of students. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters musical growth and development.

• Plan and deliver music lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities
• Develop and implement curriculum that meets state and national standards
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to inform instruction
• Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes social skills and teamwork
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Education or related field
• South Carolina teaching certification in Music
• Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The Music Teacher will work in a school setting, interacting with students, teachers, and parents. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
