Role Overview

This application pertains to a Talent Pool for Project Controls Managers, from which we will be directing candidates into various roles, including Assistant, Professional, and Senior Professional positions within our organization, specifically in the Mexico region.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Proven track record in delivering Project Controls for construction initiatives.
  • The Project Controls Manager will oversee the program controls function, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of plans, costs, safety, environmental considerations, and performance reporting, while effectively deploying available resources.
  • A minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience in planning.
  • Development of comprehensive project plans derived from the Master Schedule.
  • Management of essential inputs, including task lists, logic, milestones, resources, and calendars from design phases through to construction.
  • Monitoring trends and assessing schedule impacts in collaboration with the project team.
  • Preparation of status reports.
  • Maintenance of standards, formats, and timelines.
  • Re-baselining of schedules as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.

Educational Background:

  • Experience in executing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, encompassing schedule development, control, and analysis, both in the field and from the home office.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication in English and Spanish.
  • Competence with PC operating systems and various basic software applications.
  • Familiarity with discipline-specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications, along with an intermediate understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management principles.
  • Availability for travel and mobility across cities.
  • A degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred, accompanied by experience in construction projects.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Experience with Primavera P6.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
  • The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and a self-starter.
