The Tax Intermediate Analyst is a key role within Citibank's Finance department, responsible for managing the bank's tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the planning, accounting, and reporting of tax liabilities, including the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, including the identification and resolution of tax-related issues.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Team Leadership: Direct the day-to-day work of junior-level employees and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in tax roles, preferably in a financial services industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
