Job Summary:

The Operations Senior Project Manager will lead strategic initiatives for large and high-complexity projects, collaborating with customers, teams, and stakeholders to ensure project success. This role provides management and guidance to project teams, enhances customer relationships, and ensures accountability for project schedules, performance requirements, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and translated for execution.
  • Build and lead project teams to address project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with customers from requirements gathering through product acceptance.
  • Establish milestones, goals, and objectives based on input from functional areas and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and motivation to project teams to achieve project goals and corporate initiatives.
  • Communicate project objectives in terms of overall strategic business objectives.
  • Manage project plans with a focus on achievement of project goals and corporate initiatives.
  • Recognize project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Obtain and summarize current project information and milestone status versus project performance baseline.
  • Drive project tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Coordinate team efforts to develop an integrated project plan and risk analysis with action plans to mitigate risks.
  • Manage resource capacity and collaborate in forecasting project budget and HR needs.
  • Accountable for overall project success, including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities:

Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include Ops Regional PMO Mgr or Ops PMO Mgr. Job is not directly responsible for managing other employees.

Knowledge Requirements:

Expert knowledge of Jabil's culture and guiding principles required. Must be adept at navigating the diversified landscape with respect to country cultures, company divisions, and internal hierarchies.
