Main Responsibilities:

  • Organize and publish daily reports detailing last mile shipments between terminals and distribution centers.
  • Coordinate container status information from drayage providers and AutoZone distribution centers.
  • Establish effective communication with all parties to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Troubleshoot containers facing delays.
  • Utilize Excel to organize data into actionable management reports.
  • Audit and prepare international logistics invoices for payment, including those from ocean carriers, NVOCCs, drayage providers, and trans-load operators.
  • Maintain and organize contracted rate sheets.
  • Audit invoices for accuracy.
  • Set up new vendors with the Accounts Payable system.
  • Troubleshoot inaccurate invoices with third-party providers.
  • Publish monthly container volume reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy of AutoZone's international logistics order management system.
  • Scrutinize shipment information for arrival accuracy.
  • Compare purchase order shipping windows to order management booking information.
  • Resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate issues to management.
  • Foster strong relationships with third-party partners and internal business partners.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Superior Excel skills (pivot tables and V-lookups required).
  • A high school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience or a four-year college degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A four-year college degree in Supply Chain or Transportation/Logistics.
  • Prior internship experience in a corporate setting.
  • Supply chain exposure.
