Trade Finance Manager Opportunity

At British American Tobacco, we are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Manager to join our team in Monterrey. This role is a key part of our Commercial Finance structure and will play a critical role in driving our trade programs forward.

About the Role
This is a highly visible and integral position that requires strong analytical skills to bring insights to trade programs and advise business decisions. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for trade programs and forecasting and reporting queries, and will need to develop positive relationships within the finance function and cross-functional networking to develop effective and coordinated insights.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and sustain strong business partnering relationships across Finance, O2C, IDT, and Trade functions.
Responsible for oversight and management of the control environment including SOX management and performance, documentation, and craft around all controls related to our Trade based programs.
Holistic support of development, prioritization, and execution with IDT to support strategic RGM initiatives.
Support cross-functional teams in setting strategy and execution plans for our Trade strategy programs.
Develop robust analytics and reporting for the organization's payments.
Provide internal trade support payment resolution and assistance validation and reconciliation processes. Furthermore, support Business Continuity plans related to our Trade payment programs.
Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department improvement and assist with special projects as needed.
Must be able to operate effectively under pressure and in an ambiguous environment. Moreover, develop, monitor, and sustain successfully and on-target important metrics performance.

Requirements
At least +5 years of finance or accounting services experience.
Solid understanding of finance/analytics and demonstrate commercial foresight.
Must have proven track record to work in a fast-paced, fast-paced environment and a high sense of urgency.
Must be diligent and have excellent communication skills.
Understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems (i.e. SAP / BPCe/Sales Force).MS Office – Sophisticated level.
Proficient verbal and written English language skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
