Job Summary
We are seeking a self-directed software engineer with previous experience in Java software development to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Software Engineer will design, build, and support custom software solutions for some of the world's largest retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new custom functions and assist with defect fixing.
- Extend the automation/continuous integration platform, including tests.
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure a quality deliverable.
- Create product user documentation.
- Provide configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance support.
- Work mainly with Linux environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related field.
- 2+ years of Java software development experience.
- Computer science fundamentals (object-oriented concepts, data structures, and related algorithms).
- Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies.
- Good experience with Linux-based operating systems.
