Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality plans to meet customer expectations
- Support daily operations in the Focus Factory area assigned
- Investigate customer claims and develop Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCM)
- Authorize material and product deviations
- Lead new product and option introductions in the Focus Factory
- Collaborate with Process Engineers to develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Maintain accurate routings, BOM set-ups, and maintenance in Oracle
- Ensure accurate manufacturing and purchasing component codification
- Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) approvals and implementations
- Support BOM creation process and ensure accurate BOMs
- Provide accurate drawing and product documentation, including wiring diagrams and special assembly instructions
- Supply quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Focus Factory team
- Provide technical training support to Quality Auditors
- Support Focus Factory Manager to ensure compliance with UL, CSA, NSF, and NOM standards
- Communicate quality issues and claims to internal suppliers and customers
- Analyze and respond to customer claims
- Create Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for product changes
- Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) teams
- Collaborate with Post-Sales and Warranty teams
- Responsible for Supply Chain Product Development and Support (PDS) activities
- Identify process and product improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related position
- Conversational English language skills
