We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Engines Prognostics and Health Management Specialist to join our team at General Electric. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced prognostics and health management systems for aircraft engines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of aircraft engine systems and their performance characteristics.
- Design and implement advanced prognostics and health management algorithms and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prognostics and health management systems into aircraft engine designs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support system development and implementation.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechatronic engineering or similar field.
- Advanced programming skills in C, C++, MATLAB, and model-based environments such as SCADE or SIMULINK.
- Demonstrated skills to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Knowledge of aircraft engine performance and operational parameters.
- Experience in Digital Signal Processing techniques.
- Experience in Data Mining techniques and Machine Learning algorithms.
- Experience in prototyping analytic solutions for complex problems.
