Job Summary

We are seeking a self-directed software engineer with previous experience in software development to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Software Engineer II will design, build, and support custom software solutions for some of the world's largest retailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new custom functions and assist with defect fixing
  • Extend the automation/continuous integration platform, including tests
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure a quality deliverable
  • Create product user's documentation
  • Provide configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance support
  • Operate Windows and Linux operating systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Good English written and verbal communication
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of Java-based development experience
  • Computer science fundamentals (object-oriented concepts, data structures, and related algorithms)
  • Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies
  • Strong experience with Linux-based operating systems, including scripting and filesystem
  • Experience working with hardware
Preferred Qualifications
  • C++, Apache Camel, Apache Active MQ, Spring, Spring Boot, Stomp
  • Linux: Kernel, Advanced Bash, Boot sequence, Boot Loader
  • Windows: User Space/System Space Basic Knowledge
