We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Expert to join our team at Molex, a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect components. As a key member of our production planning team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer demand is met by requested deadlines.
About the Role
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance with minimum delay.
- Coordinate production flow across multiple products or family of products.
- Monitor output and on-time completion of work orders to ensure production plan dates are met.
- Schedule demand in shifts according to production needs.
- Address issues as prompted to mitigate any interruption to the production schedule.
- Communicate status of production plan through the preparation of performance reports.
- Collaborate with production support groups like Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, etc.
- Prepare and analyze expected revenue and shipping projections.
- Timely communication flow with Customer Service Reps on inquiries.
- Analysis and monitoring of on-time delivery at granular level to ensure customer request dates are met.
- Involvement in Lean projects and/or proposals of projects and strategies to ensure continues improvement.
- Revision and monitoring of inventory levels at Finished Good and sub-assembly levels to maintain optimal strategies and avoid S&E.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience creating production plans.
- Previous proven experience creating production plans and strategies.
- EPR and MRP understanding in full.
- Proven problem-solving tools knowledge.
- English Professional Proficiency.
- Experience on High Mix / Low Volume operations, SMT, Back End, manual ASSY, automated process.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS Certification.
- SAP experienced (preferable).
- CARRAS negotiation skills.
- Multiple ERP experience.
- Automated supply chain tools such as Kinaxis.
