Job Role
Department Purpose: The Import/Export Compliance Department plays a critical role in ensuring that all global trade activities comply with international regulations and standards.
Key Tasks:
- Evaluate BOMs and technical data to determine product classifications.
- Verify shipment accuracy and completeness.
- Navigate SAP/IFS systems to troubleshoot issues.
- Respond to classification inquiries from external stakeholders.
- Participate in assigned projects to improve compliance processes.
- Availability to work at our facilities in Monterrey or Tecate.
- You will report to a team lead.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in international business, administration, or similar field.
- At least two years of experience in classification and import/export compliance activities.
- Knowledge of HTS, EAR, CCL, and foreign export control laws.
- SAP/GTS skills.
- Ability to read and interpret BOMs.
