Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Supply Chain activities to support new products:
    • Define Supply Chain concepts and make quotations.
    • Initiate, define, and lead logistics FMEA and Information Systems.
    • Validate suppliers' logistic protocols.
    • Define and qualify Finished Goods and Work-In-Process packaging.
    • Qualify supplier packaging.
    • Define, validate, and qualify Transportation Logistics Service Providers' protocols.
    • Define and qualify Supply Chain process equipment and Internal flows.
    • Define, validate, and qualify Supply Chain master data and Information Systems.
    • Support Continuous Improvement of Supply Chain processes.
    • Follow and reach project milestones.
    • Use Supply Chain checklist templates to manage daily activities and monthly review progress with Project Managers.
    • Be responsible for project logistics issues until phase 4b.
    • Attend Project meetings and lead PM assignments.
  • Participate in line/industrial transfers, P0 projects, and engineering changes:
    • Implement all Supply Chain activities for products managed by line transfer project teams.
    • Lead Supply Chain to support P0 projects.
  • Implement and promote Supply Chain standards; train and coach internal and external project contributors:
    • Train suppliers on Valeo standards and specifications.
    • Support Supply Chain activities to implement and promote standards.
    • Initiate, update, and lead Logistics FMEA for new projects.
    • Responsible for applying safety standards and adhering to QS, V, TS, V, OHSAS, and ISO requirements.
    • Avoid obsolescence due to new product introduction and product phase-out:
      • Order materials according to new product introduction needs.
      • Validate close orders quantity and supply process.
      • Manage obsolete inventories with Project Managers.
      • Keep inventory accurate and under control.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team at Valeo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain Management, with a degree in Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of APICS certification and experience in the Automotive Industry are highly valued.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing Supply Chain activities, implementing Supply Chain standards, and promoting best practices within the team. They will also be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
