Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Credit Risk Review Manager. This role will be responsible for leading and conducting remote credit reviews of individual sites in Canada.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct remote credit reviews of individual sites in Canada to assess the design and operation of internal controls related to the management of credit risk.
- Ensure appropriate governance and oversight to assess entire credit cycle risk strategies, policies, systems, and risk team capabilities in Wholesale Credit Risk.
- Participate in assignments of varying complexity and act as Officer in Charge (OIC) for reviews of moderate to high complexity.
- Write clear, concise reports and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise project staff to ensure timely completion of assignments in accordance with department standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA, MF, or similar, and/or professional credentials such as CFA or CIA would be highly valued.
- 100% fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Advanced Excel and database management skills.
- A minimum of six years of working experience in credit risk related fields.
- Solid knowledge and significant experience in Wholesale Credit Risk.
- Knowledge of structured transactions and derivatives would be a plus.
- Strong economic and business analytic capabilities, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
