Senior Corporate Affairs Director

Novo Nordisk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Affairs Director to lead our corporate affairs and sustainability strategy in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with societal and environmental needs, engaging with stakeholders, and advocating for public policies that support our industry objectives and public health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to influence public policies, regulations, and legislation to support the company's objectives while contributing to public health and sustainability.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships and alliances with organizations that share our sustainability and corporate responsibility values and foster collaboration to address shared societal challenges.
  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies to minimize our environmental impact, enhance our social contribution, and ensure good governance practices.
  • Oversee the development and execution of communication strategies to maintain transparent and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors, and the media.
  • Manage the company's reputation by proactively addressing potential issues, public concerns, and crises, while promoting a positive public image through ethical and responsible business practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in political sciences, communications, journalism, or business management, with additional competencies in health sciences an advantage.
  • Significant experience and a proven track record in building relationships/networks with trade associations, government affairs, payers, politicians, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Experience in delivering business objectives in alignment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, its regulation, and previous network with relevant external stakeholders an advantage.
  • Advanced level of English required.
