Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, we are looking for an organized warehouse manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions as well as monitor supply performance to the production lines to support on-time delivery to the internal and external customers.
You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets.
Key Accountabilities- Operating within the approved budget and managing the warehouse staff activities to optimize resource utilization and determine corrective actions for cost-related issues as necessary.
- Improving warehouse operations using lean practices.
- Planning and optimizing warehouse utilization and inventory.
- Monitoring the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeping stock control systems up to date; overseeing stock control and processing orders.
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, industrial or similar engineering.
5-7 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor.
SAP management (Materials transactions).
Knowledge of ISO 9001.
Experience with inventory management systems (WMS), barcode, scanner and RFID.
Knowledge and audits on CTPAT programs.
Monitor and enhance inventory accuracy by controlling internal transaction trackers and root cause analysis or problem solving.
Advanced level of English.
Management of white collar and blue collar personnel.
Some Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) desirable.
APICS certification desirable.
