Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Unilever. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize our warehouse operations and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Warehouse Strategy Development: Support the development of a comprehensive warehouse strategy for North Latam, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  2. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for warehouse processes in Latam, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the local business, 3PLs, and the Global Logistics team.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization.
  4. Strategy Implementation: Develop and maintain a multi-year implementation plan for warehousing, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  5. Benchmarking and Analysis: Lead the benchmarking process for warehousing in LATAM, providing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Cost Savings and Performance: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, evaluating logistics performance measurement KPIs to drive business growth.
  7. Process Improvement: Design, develop, and implement new business processes and enabling technology in logistics projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  8. Business Case Development: Develop business cases for new warehouses, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  9. Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills, effectively communicating with stakeholders and team members to drive project success.
Requirements
  1. Industry Experience: 5+ years of industry and/or consulting experience in logistics, with a focus on warehouse projects and operations.
  2. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business, technology, and process implications related to operation planning and logistics.
  3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  4. Communication and Leadership Skills: Effective communication, leadership, project management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members.
  5. Language Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
