The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior App Security Analyst to join our team. As a Junior App Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications and systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing measures to prevent and mitigate security risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee Security by Design, Network Security, and Secure Coding practices in projects.
- Integrate, maintain, and manage vulnerability management tools and scanners and application firewall policies.
- Perform internal intrusion tests and evidence when necessary to proper stakeholders.
- Actively participate and coordinate penetration tests schedules.
- Manage, report, advise, and follow-up on vulnerabilities action plans (mitigation and remediation) with the Business Unit's stakeholders and development teams on the region.
- Provide advice and guidance on Network Security topics according to corporate standards.
- Maintain and control regional applications perimeter.
- Provide Support functions to Application Security Center of Expertise (at Head Quarter).
- Define the run book for each Change implementation and participate on the CAB (Change Advisory Board) meeting when required.
- Actively Participate on the Incident Response (Detect, Control, Respond, and Report). Security Incidences.
- Ensure Quality Control and Lessons Learned of Security Actions on the other Security layers.
- Govern and manage related security procedures, guidelines, diagrams, and baselines.
- Perform and Manage Risk Acceptance Letters ensuring correct accountability and escalation when needed.
- Contribute to build KPIs' Monthly Book, RCA (Risk), and SLA of the area.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years working on Information Security Tech Areas (required).
- Experience on Security in Projects: Secure Development (agile and cascade cycles), Secure Architecture, and Data Privacy (desirable).
- Execution and control of Assets Vulnerability Scans, DAST (Web Scanning), SAST (Code Review tools), and internal intrusion tests (required). 1-2 years.
- Knowledge in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) life cycles (desirable).
- Good Knowledge on Programming languages such as C#, Visual Basic.NET, Perl, PHP, Java, and Python (desirable technologies).
- Knowledge on OWASP (Control Standard Web Pages) Top 10 practices and risk methodology (required).
- DevSecOps experience and cloud pipelines integrations (desirable). 1-2 years.
- Red/Blue Team exercises (desirable).
