**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.

**Responsibilities:**

* Respond to and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
* Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
* Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
* Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
* Communicate daily activities and issues with other shifts using approved communication programs

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
* Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus

**Additional Responsibilities:**

* Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, as well as external landscaping sprinklers
* Display basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes
* Follow company and safety policies, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, or accidents
