Job Overview
The Production Operator is tasked with overseeing multiple teams responsible for the efficient delivery and removal of materials within the Making, Packing, Converting, or Assembly areas. This role includes the management of finished products from the Packing area to the Warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the transportation of materials to and from production areas.
- Manage the finished product inventory within the Warehouse.
- Handle customer returns and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for loading products onto trucks for distribution.
- Facilitate the movement of materials to staging areas for further processing.
- Manually select individual cases or layers of finished products as needed.
- Ensure production efficiency, safety, quality, cost management, and team morale.
- Act as the System Owner or Equipment Owner for designated areas.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and understand the technology utilized in the area.
- Schedule and manage transportation logistics for shipments to and from the facility.
