About the Job

This opening is for a Senior Software Engineer in the Enterprise Manager Database and Engineered Systems Management team. You will work with an experienced team to design and implement complex database and Engineered Systems management functionality using a wide variety of technologies, including Java, JDBC, Oracle JET, REST, JSON, GIT, Python, Perl, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Data Guard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex database and Engineered Systems management functionality
  • Work with a team to develop and maintain a comprehensive management and monitoring solution
  • Collaborate with product managers to identify and prioritize new features and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using Java and other programming languages
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer, preferably with an enterprise-scale, multi-tier product
  • 2+ years of experience with Java or another high-level programming language
  • 2+ years of experience with database-related development
  • Working-level experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and JDBC
  • Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
