We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Global Supply Planning team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the production and delivery of Amazon Devices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Production Schedules: Create and maintain production schedules using capacity plans, material constraints, and demand as inputs.
- Analyze Demand Changes: Analyze demand changes to ensure supply aligns with demand requirements.
- Drive Supply Chain Solutions: Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any short or long-term gaps in supply plans.
- Lead Global Manufacturing Partnerships: Lead and facilitate meetings with global manufacturing partners to reduce and eliminate shortages.
- Communicate Production Status: Clearly communicate our manufacturing partner's current production status to senior/executive stakeholders.
- Develop Production Strategies: Develop production strategies for new production introductions (NPI) through end of life (EOL) that balances supply and demand.
- Responsible for Short/Long-term Planning: Responsible for short/long-term planning to drive manufacturing investment decisions.
- Communicate Supply and Demand Strategies: Clearly communicate supply and demand strategies to senior/executive stakeholders.
- Monitor and Report Supply Chain Costs: Monitor and report supply chain costs.
- Generate and Distribute Supply Planning Reports: Be responsible for supply planning reporting generation and distribution.
- Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the planning process and drive projects to completion.

Requirements- 5+ Years Planning Experience: 5+ years planning experience in a consumer market segment company.
- Supply Chain Management Experience: 5+ years supply chain management and manufacturing operations experience.
- MS Office Experience: Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Lean Manufacturing Understanding: Understanding (and practical application) of lean manufacturing.
- Master's Degree: Master's degree.
- APICS Certification: APICS certified.
- Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, and team members.
- Conceptual Thinking and Analytical Skills: A keen, flexible, and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks: Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully.
- LEAN Manufacturing Experience: Experience with LEAN manufacturing preferred.
