Job Summary

Plexus is seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for a variety of cost and financial activities for our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine cost allocations to customers for material, labor, and fixed costs by using the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) method.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements, in partnership with corporate accounting.
  • Provide financial analysis by reviewing trial balances and preparing reports in non-financial, user-friendly formats.
  • Support financial analysts with margin analysis and general ledger-related questions.
Additional Accountabilities
  • Support manufacturing operations with financial metrics, including scrap, work order aging, and labor contribution.
  • Determine month-end WIP labor valuation, including reconciliation of General Ledger to the perpetual inventory system.
  • Calculate standard labor rates used to allocate labor cost to assemblies and customers.
  • Gather financial and non-financial data for preparation of internal financial packages.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Four (4) years of related experience.
  • Supervisory experience beneficial for senior-level positions.
  • Ability to complete internal training courses offered by Plexus.

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
Work Environment

The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
