At Alcon MX, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting within prescribed deadlines and in compliance with IFRS.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounting (Mid-Sr level) with a track record of accurate accounting and financial reporting. A strong knowledge of IFRS, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and statutory/corporate accounting is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accurate journal entries
  • Robust monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Collaborating with local stakeholders for timely issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Masters or Advanced degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
  • Audit & Compliance: Experience supporting internal and external audits
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
