About the Role:

Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead our technical teams. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of software solutions using a full stack approach, including front-end, back-end, and database design
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize project requirements and goals
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all code meets Citi's quality standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, making recommendations for adoption and implementation within the company
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and other relevant materials
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including meeting notes, action items, and status updates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a lead or technical lead role
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including .Net, SQL Server, and at least one front-end technology (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with continuous delivery tools, such as Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, or similar
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
