Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the client's Project Manager in overseeing the overall construction effort, including monitoring progress and identifying potential issues.
  • Advise at a strategic level on project conception, providing expert guidance on approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Manage contract and budget ownership for direct contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate the Project Execution Plan, ensuring completion of all necessary activities.
  • Proactively manage risks related to construction project execution, working closely with the client's Project Manager to coordinate GC actions and manage the risk register.
  • Support the design process, reviewing drawings against project requirements and assessing constructability.
  • Assist the client's Project Manager in reviewing and reporting on project progress, creating and coordinating meeting minutes and other documentation.
  • Coordinate and support the RFI and Submittal process, ensuring alignment with cost budgets.
  • Help establish project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and quality performance parameters.
  • Identify and support the appropriate line manager in addressing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
  • Support the development of contractor and overall purchasing strategy, ensuring execution of defined strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar.
