**About the Role**:

Safran Purchasing is responsible for non-production purchasing across the entire Safran Group. As part of its strategic objectives, the Group aims to reduce its carbon footprint while maintaining site competitiveness.

The Energy & Fluids Buyer will play a key role in this effort, ensuring the mapping of markets, contributing to purchasing strategy definition, and monitoring trends that impact site spending and decarbonization projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Ensure market mapping, including market structure, pricing, production mix, and decarbonization trends
  • Contribute to purchasing strategy definition, working closely with the Global Commodity Manager
  • Monitor area trends that impact site spending and decarbonization projects
  • Monitor new regulations and subsidy programs that affect Safran sites
  • Manage RFI/RFQ for new energy, fluid, and renewable energy purchase projects
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure contractual management of energy and fluid supply contracts
  • Monitor and report expenses at Safran sites
  • Ensure purchasing data reliability in ERPs

**Requirements**:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent university degree
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, is a plus
  • English and Spanish language is a requirement, French is a plus
