We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead our complex IT initiatives in a matrix environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple large business strategic high-dollar-value IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and providing updates to sponsors/committees.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation plans, and ensure adequate resources are available.
- Partner with clients to develop project objectives and manage the overall plan for business-related activities.
- Identify critical paths for large projects, including sequencing of events, and orchestrate the successful completion of infrastructure scope.
- Manage project work within approved scope, implement scope change control processes, and update project plans based on approved changes.
- Lead the development of work breakdown structures, detailed project schedules, and monitor actual schedule and costs against project estimates.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management on status, issues, risks, project goals, and objectives.
- Coordinate activities of the project team, identify necessary resources, and develop schedules to meet completion deadlines.
- Primarily, the individual needs strong skills in relationship building and management, program management/planning, presentations, and communication.
- PM Industry knowledge or experience mandatory.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in project management managing complex IT initiatives in a matrix environment.
- Experience in managing large globally distributed project teams.
- High Proficiency in spoken and written English.
