Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting and repairing equipment, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting and repairing grout and caulking.
- Ensure all guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards, including cleaning and dusting, and performing minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats and changing light bulbs.
- Report any serious maintenance problems or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team to achieve common goals.
Requirements
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
