We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team at Hubbell Incorporated. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and safety initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees on EHS-related matters.
- Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
- Experience with EHS management software and systems.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
