Job Title: Logistics Manager

About the Role:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the supply chain throughout the organization. This includes managing and protecting brand integrity, supporting product availability, and ensuring the correct execution of imports and exports in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, inbound and outbound transportation, and value-added services (VAS) operations.
  • Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle, including liaising and negotiating with suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers.
  • Guarantee timely and cost-effective warehousing and distribution processes.
  • Identify and implement activities to gain efficiencies in logistics operations.
  • Develop and manage local processes to ensure global quality standards.
  • Organize and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery to destinations.
  • Manage logistics service providers to deliver good service in warehousing, less-than-truckload (LTL) transporting, and other special projects.
  • Guarantee correct execution of full-truckload (FTL) shipments, including monitoring on-time, in-full, costs, security, and tracking.
  • Develop and manage VAS strategies, operations, product development, technology, and finance.
  • Report logistics key performance indicators (KPIs) to the organization and provide operational information to the corporate audit as needed.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
  • Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce.
  • Achieve cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Guarantee correct capacity of co-packers, ensuring quality, delivery times, and correct documentation.
  • Manage co-packers' prices.
  • Handle freight forwarders, customs agencies, and additional providers for international logistics, ensuring capacities, prices, and service levels according to corporate needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer products companies (FMCG).
  • Knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes.
  • Knowledge of value-added services subcontracting monitoring.
  • Knowledge of foreign trade.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data literacy (data-driven conversations; impact driven by KPIs).
  • Fluent Spanish and English.
