**Job Responsibilities**

We are looking for a software engineer to join the SEO and Mid-Funnel Experience team at Reverb, the largest online marketplace dedicated to buying and selling musical instruments and a brand of Etsy, Inc. The team is focusing on improving sitewide performance to improve our SEO ranking. In the coming months, we also expect to be working on a new comparison shopping and search results experience to help our buyers find the right gear for them more efficiently.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for helping the team to improve sitewide SEO performance and to implement the new comparison shopping and search results experience. You will frequently collaborate with teammates based out of the US, including developers, designers, product owners, and domain experts at Reverb. Your primary tasks will include building and maintaining the new comparison shopping and search results pages, measuring, maintaining, and improving site performance, and collaborating closely with designers on new site designs.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you should have front-end React skills to develop and maintain the new comparison shopping and search results page. You must have an interest in site performance and SEO metrics, a desire to dig in and tackle interesting problems as we seek to solve old problems, and react to new developments in SEO to improve our SEO rankings. You should be willing to learn backend skills as needed to implement changes on the front end or to solve performance problems. Finally, you should have a desire to work closely with team members and other collaborators to make the best possible product.
