We've achieved remarkable traction with exceptional outcomes and unit economics, and we're committed to building a leading AI-enabled consumer fintech platform in Mexico and Latin America.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage our tech team, driving innovation and growth while contributing to coding efforts. Our team has built our full tech stack from scratch, and we expect our Tech Lead to dedicate 60-70% of their time to coding and the rest to team and project management.
- Collaborate closely with our Head of Growth and Head of Risk to develop and prioritize projects, ensuring effective communication with the team and founders.
- Communicate effectively with investors, tech vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Drive high-speed product and tech infrastructure development, balancing speed with scalability.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to teams across functions, ensuring seamless collaboration.
**Essential Skills:**
- SQL Database Management: A key aspect of this position.
- Experience with Microservices.
- Solid knowledge in JavaScript, with expertise in Express for backend, React for frontend, and React Native for mobile.
- Knowledge in Python, with the ability to work closely with the data team.
- Experience with cloud providers, including Google Cloud, AWS (with a preference for AWS, as we aim to migrate to this provider), and Heroku.
- Excellent command of English and Spanish.
