Job Summary:
This Lean Manufacturing Developer role at Te Connectivity involves working closely with the Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams to drive excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, experience with complex projects, and knowledge of World Class Manufacturing techniques, Quality total administration, and advanced quality planning.
Responsibilities:
- Support ME's for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Analyze, create, and maintain production standards & job methods to optimize plant operations.
- Create ideas and innovation for new concepts that are fully flexible, scalable, digital, and require minimized capex and leadtime.
- Launch and facilitate platform development projects accordingly.
- Identify, prioritize, support lead, and sponsor assembly CoE & innovation projects in collaboration with ME-, PE-, CoE's, AMT- and digital organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics).
- More than 5 years of experience as an Engineer in MFG Engineering or a similar field.
- Experience in handling complex projects that require planning, costing, and justification of capital investments.
- Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing techniques, Quality total administration, and advanced quality planning.
- High technical skills to develop/design fully automatic equipment.
- Controls and Mechanical skills desired.
- Knowledge on CAD software (CREO, ProE, Solidworks, AutoCAD).
- English language fluency.
