Job Title: Global Supply Chain Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Global Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Alibaba. In this role, you will work closely with multiple business teams to establish local logistics solutions for category development and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building local logistics solutions to support key categories (FMCG, fashion, etc.). They will identify pain points and solution leads using data, drive process standardization and optimization, and continuously enhance processes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing local logistics solutions to support key categories (FMCG, fashion, etc.)
  • Identifying and solving sellers' operational and logistics pain points
  • Assisting SME sellers with Supply Chain and Logistics platform operations
  • Localizing Supply Chain and Logistics materials
  • Staying engaged with the market, gathering intelligence, and reporting to relevant teams
  • Reviewing, monitoring, and reporting seller logistics operations and performance

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in seller operations, sales operations, e-commerce, or logistics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Willingness to work in start-up mode and ability to operate in an ambiguous business environment
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, and Mandarin is a plus
  • SQL, Data Analysis, and Advanced Excel Knowledge are a plus

What We Offer:

As a Global Supply Chain Strategist at Alibaba, you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
