Telecoms Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Engineer to join our team at McDermott. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development of key project deliverables, including specifications, system diagrams, load lists, equipment arrangements, and coordination of installation details.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop project deliverables, including specifications, system diagrams, and load lists.
• Coordinate the installation of telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Participate in project reviews, including CCTV Model Reviews and Independent Design Reviews (IDR).
• Develop and support vendor packages, including requisition packages for telecommunications contractors.
• Provide on-site technical support to construction personnel for telecommunications-related systems and equipment.
• Participate in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of telecommunications systems and equipment.

Requirements:

• Accredited engineering degree.
• Minimum 15 years of telecommunications engineering experience, including 3 years as a senior engineer.
• Experience with offshore projects.
• Proven project coordination and execution skills in delivery of completed project design deliverables.
• Advanced experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSTE degree or BSEE.
• Experience at site during construction and commissioning.
