Job Title: Lead Technical Architect

Job Summary:

Aspire Systems Retail is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technical Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical leader and advisor to clients, providing guidance on technical solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Identify and evaluate technical risks, providing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and regional and local development teams to develop robust and viable products.
  • Mentor technical consultants and provide guidance on environment management and release control.
  • Complete and review solution design documents for technical areas, ensuring they meet the agreed-upon technical definitions.
  • Liaise with TEMENOS maintenance groups to ensure product problems are understood and resolved.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of application servers (jBOSS, Web Sphere, Web Logic) and operating systems (Windows, RedHat Linux, IBM AIX).
  • Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS), including MSSQL, DB2, and Oracle.
  • In-depth understanding of industry concepts, such as Java VMs and artefacts (WAR and EAR files), performance tuning, and JMS.
  • Experience in componentization of applications.
  • Knowledge of the general architecture of T24 and related interfaces.
  • Understanding of application servers and operating systems.
  • Understanding of RDBMS.
  • Knowledge of MSSQL, DB2, or Oracle RDBMS.
  • Good understanding of integration, process orchestration, and penetration testing.
