Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer - Fuel Delivery Module Core D&R to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our Core D&R team, you will be responsible for delivering fuel delivery modules for all global Ford programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, validation, and launch of fuel delivery modules, ensuring compliance with Ford's quality standards.
- Monitor warranty trends for launched fuel delivery modules and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain core quality documents, including ESOWs, Design Rules, and SCCAFs.
- Manage weekly open issues reviews with FDM suppliers and support issue resolution through data collection and analysis.
- Develop and manage validation testing to support engineering milestone signoffs.
- Communicate status and issues to senior management and program teams.
- Support STA for APQP and Launch Readiness Reviews, as well as SREA review and approval process.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Engineering
- At least 2 years of design and release experience
- Proficiency in D&R tools such as WERS, Teamcenter, FEDE, Global 8D, DFMEA, DVP&R, PV, APQP Reviews, and AIMs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with fuel system components, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
