We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Investment Officer to lead our industrial real estate investments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our long-term investment strategy, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, and overseeing the acquisition and development of Class A industrial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Investment Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with our growth and profitability goals.
- Investment Opportunities: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in Class A industrial properties, ensuring strategic expansion of our portfolio.
- Site Selection: Evaluate and select strategic locations for new industrial developments, focusing on proximity to labor, infrastructure, highways, key logistics centers, accessibility for international supply chains, and quality of life.
- Project Management: Coordinate with technical teams to validate the suitability of selected sites and ensure compliance with infrastructure and regulatory requirements.
- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of Class A industrial facilities, ensuring each project aligns with quality standards and the specific needs of the international market.
- Financial Analysis: Supervise the preparation of detailed budgets and cost strategies to optimize the profitability of each investment.
- Acquisition: Direct the acquisition process of land and industrial properties, negotiating favorable terms and conditions with owners and intermediaries.
- Due Diligence: Conduct rigorous financial analysis and due diligence to assess risks and opportunities for each transaction.
- Infrastructure Development: Coordinate with local authorities and providers to ensure timely availability and procurement of necessary electrical, hydraulic, and natural gas infrastructure for industrial developments.
- Relationship Building: Identify and develop strategic relationships with investors, banks, and potential partners to structure joint ventures that drive growth and expansion of our portfolio.
- Asset Management: Oversee the management and valuation of the asset portfolio, implementing strategies to continuously enhance the value of existing properties and optimize financial performance.
- Reporting: Implement robust systems and reporting mechanisms to monitor the pipeline of acquisition and development projects.
- Communication: Prepare regular reports for the executive committee and shareholders, effectively communicating progress and financial outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced studies preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in industrial real estate investments with proven experience in the development and management of Class A industrial projects.
- Skills: Excellent analytic, financial, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments under pressure.
