Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering assistance for daily production, quality control, problem solving, cost reduction, and meeting delivery schedules.
- Oversee production processes and suggest changes in working methods or operation sequences to ensure efficient operation and improve efficiency.
- Support the maintenance department in maintaining and troubleshooting the manufacturing process, tools, and dies.
- Develop and maintain control over labor standards in complex operations.
- Assist in providing associates training as required and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Monitor and keep track of various plant metrics.
- Assist in implementing the Kohler Operating System (KOS).
- Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality, and cost in plant operations.
- Develop quality projects using Lean Manufacturing tools to achieve cost reduction and improved results.
- Support teamwork to ensure established methods are followed after project implementation.
