Ware Malcomb is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Design Professional to join our team in the Monterrey office.
The ideal candidate will assist the Project Engineer or Project Manager in the management of multiple site development projects, including contract document preparation, AutoCAD support, design calculations, code searches, and construction services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist in designing each phase of the project, including preliminary grading, preliminary utility layout, final grading, final utility plan and profiles, construction documents, and construction phase services.
• Provide AutoCAD support for the preparation of project documents.
• Conduct design calculations for drainage, utility, stormwater management, reports, and analysis.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager or Project Engineer on construction services, including site visits and review of shop drawings.
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist with submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb employees.
**Requirements:**
• New graduate or up to 3 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field.
• A minimum of one year of experience in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Land/site development experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
