About the Role:

The Warranty Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the warranty system at Stoneridge. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the warranty system in a timely and well-documented manner, including part return trackers, internal and external reporting, and warranty claim and cost recoveries.
  • Develop and maintain a warranty part return log, including receipt and status through closure of analysis.
  • Maintain and/or assist with internal and customer reports for warranty, including monthly dashboards, 8Ds, Stellantis - QMTS, and Paynter Charts.
  • Support the warranty and quality team as needed for warranty reviews, corrective actions, and reporting.
  • Act as a power user of customer portals, monitoring due dates, inputting responses, and pulling reports.
  • Review customer warranty cost recoveries for validity and report results to meet customer deadlines.
  • Assist with work orders, shipping, test requests, and RMAs as needed.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and share warranty information appropriately, including FAN charts and MIS.
  • Monitor customer-related warranty data for out-of-control warranty, report, and react accordingly.
  • Support warranty improvement teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree required.
  • English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Microsoft Excel or other expertise required for data handling, graphs, and analysis.
  • IT/computer proficiency to navigate complex customer systems.
